VTG Black Taffeta Bag Purse Handbag 1950-60 MCM Evening Elegant Guild Original DESCRIPTION: Offered is a black taffeta evening bag. It is exquisitely embellished with jewels and beads on the top. It has a clasp style closure with a wreath and the jeweled area looks like a strapless dress, and interior is satin lined with two interior flat small pockets.  One has a double-sided mirror in it. Short handle. Best guess 1950's-1960's. Mid Century Modern. Made by Guild Originals. MEASUREMENT : 6" across metal top closure, 10.5" at widest and 8 " deep. CONDITION: In excellent estate condition, No stains, rips or tears. Very clean. No missing or loose beads on the jeweled top of bag.
