This vintage purse (over 25 years old) has a detailed front constructed of beads, bone and snakeskin. The design is simple and elegant, reminiscent of the four corners of the earth. The colors are simple and tasteful. The material is very soft-deerskin (I think?) with the reverse side pf the hide becoming the "lining" of the interior. The interior has two separate compartments with one separation having two stitched pockets on the surface for phone, wallet, etc. The back of the purse also has a pocket. The braided leather handle should be replaced or rebraided. Four triangular pieces act as charms hanging from the bottom and sides where the handle meets. The top stitching is perfect on the entire purse with no breaks. There are some small pen marks which are easily seen on the photos. Nice leather stitching holds purse together. Size of purse is a rectangle 12"x 8" with a bottom gusset of 4 1/2" which can stretch. The braided leather handle hangs 7 1/2" from its center to the top of the purse. Check photos carefully as this is vintage and has cosmetic wear. The handle needs to be replaced or restructured.
