This antique purse necklace features a beautiful filigree design. It is hinged and can be opened and closed. I’m not sure of its age but it’s been around a long time, some go back for hundreds of years. It’s made of metal, not sure what but as you can see in the photos, it has a silver hue as well as gold color. It’s tarnished and some of the metal looks to have flecked off. The chain is continuous, no closure and there are several areas where the metal has turned black. It’s hard to see because of the lighting but if you zoom in, you can see better. It still looks good though, very eye catching and a great conversation piece. It’s not marked or signed so I can’t tell you much about it, other than what I already have. The total length of the chain is 14 inches and 15.5 to the bottom of the purse. It is a one-of-a-kind piece that is perfect for any fashion-forward woman. Even with the wear, it still has its original charm.
