Antique Sterling Silver Coin Purse, Chatelaine, Hallmarked

Antique Sterling Silver coin purse lined with what could be leather, I'm not sure.  The purse would be attached to a chatelaine or belt, leaving the hands free.  This purse is hallmarked, and it was made in Birmingham, England, I think the date is 1915.  It measures 5" long, 2 3/4" tall, 1 1/2" deep, and weighs 78 grams.  The chain has a 3" drop.  Etched on the front is the date, "Septr 4th, 1918.," and on the other side are initials that look like, "ES."  Condition is good, very tarnished, a small dent, and the lining is coming loose in some places.  The closure is a push button still works fine.  Wonderful treasure for someone you love!
